Product Description

  Tour Date:  October 13-15, 2016

Thirty-five attendees, including six licensed battlefield guides from Gettysburg, followed the footsteps of Major General George Gordon Meade from the moment he is ordered to take command of the Army of the Potomac near Frederick, Maryland through his campaign to intercept General Robert E. Lee’s Army of Northern Virginia and the resulting battle at Gettysburg, to his pursuit of Lee’s defeated army to and across the Potomac River.  The weather was absolutely spectacular and the lunches at Hickory Bridge Farm were unbelievable.  It was one of the best tours ever!
