Join Witnessing History’s First Army Corps for:
The Campaign and Battle of
“The Bloody Battle of the West”
April 14, 15 and 16, 2016
Headquartered in Ringgold, Georgia, thirty-five attendees followed General William Rosecrans and his Army of the Cumberland in its advance against Braxton Bragg’s Army of the Tennessee, and then followed each of Bragg’s brutal assaults through the woods, thickets, and clearings west of Chickamauga Creek to the final action along Snodgrass Hill.
The weather was wonderful and the sites from Lookout Mountain and in McLemore’s Cove were spectacular! The lunches at the historic Gordon-Lee Mansion were memorable. A fabulous time was had by all.
